The Playgroup Children's Foundation

Katy and I are proud to support the Playgroup Children's Foundation. As new mothers we found the incredible support we gained as being members of a community playgroup invaluable and applaud Playgroup Queensland and their amazing volunteers on their efforts to provide real support to families with young children.

Playgroup Queensland is one of Australia's largest and most progressive charities supporting families with young children. As the peak body for playgroups throughout Queensland with a vision and mission to support families with children under school age, Playgroup Queensland offers a diverse suite of services including Playgroup, parenting and therapy activities, early intervention and care programs.

The Playgroup Children's Foundation aims to:

* Work in partnership with local Indigenous agencies, government departments and other early childhood services to establish and support Indigenous Playgroups in remote, rural and metropolitan areas.
* Expand Playgroup Queensland's Sing and Grow Music Therapy Program for at risk children and families.
* Train and educate mentors to visit vulnerable families within the community.
* Purchase toys, equipment and resources for Playgroups in remote and disadvantaged communities.
